Caret-separatedThis format is used for the internal files:*.ins, *.ine, *.inl, *.ind and *.ut1, *.ut2, *.ut3.
It is also used in some of the DBL and DBX input files. (Here is a complete overview.)
If the first line in a caret-separated file starts with a space, this line contains the names of the fields, separated by carets (^). If the files doesn't start with a line giving the field names, a default field order is taken. The other lines in the file contain the field data, separated by carets (^). There is no possibility to have comment lines in a caret-separated file. |
