euAbbrev (abbrev)

In which input files is this field used?
In DBX or DBP files, in producers.dbx
What should the field look like?
In the usual files: its own column
What does the field contain?
Every line in the file producers.dbx contains information about one DBS input file.

The abbrev is an indication of such a DBS file, though it is not necessarily the same as the DBS file name.

The abbrev is used as name of the logfile (without extension) where log messages about the DBS file should go. (This is similar to logfilename1, logfilename2 for DBI files.)
