In DBS files (and in story-items in DBI files)
What should the field look like?
In the usual files: [ser:xx(xx),xx(xx)]
In FSB files: On line 5 (or subsequent): [serie:xxx]. Italian subseries names are converted to Inducks identifications. Italian subseries names can contain a comma. Multiple subseries should be separated by a semicolon ';' (!)
In the files y.dbs and z.dbs: [ser:xx(xx),xx(xx)]
In the files y.dbs and z.dbs when the storycode starts with YM 0, YM 1, ZM 0, ZM 1, YX 0, YX 1, ZX 0, ZX 1, or ZT: [ser:xx(xx),xx(xx)]
What does the field contain?
Indication of sub-series, like "A Goofy Look At..", "Goofy through History".

The name of the subseries can be followed by a chapter comment between (), like:

    [ser:Life of Scrooge(chapter 6B)]
Which checks are done?
Every name or abbreviation should be mentioned in the subseries legend.
Every name or abbreviation should occur only once.
Which CSV field(s) use this field?
The field storysubseriescomment in table inducks_storysubseries
The field subseriescode in table inducks_storysubseries
How is the data used in the rest of INDUCKS?
If an item was not in the legend, it is added with status = "unknown".
If the field has no value, but an entry has a value, a log message ("...not in story file") is given.

If the field has a value, and an entry has no value, the field is copied to the entry.

If the field's contents differ from an entry (not looking at the order of the subfields), a log message is given.
