| What does the field contain? |
|
An incomplete list of names (or abbreviations) of characters who appear in a story.
Separated by commas.
If a character is a one-time character, its name starts with a *.
We also have the xapp field.
The app field was originally designed for the listing of unusual
appearances.
When xapp is used, stricter rules apply: virtually all appearing
characters should be listed.
We are aiming to replace all [app:] by [xapp:], eventually.
|
| Which checks are done? |
Every name or abbreviation should be mentioned in the characters legend.
Every name or abbreviation should occur only once.
If xapp is used, app should be empty and vice versa.
